    Brian is right Howie it's a rookery. Those particular trees have been used for many years and will still be used when you and I are gone.

    Many birds will if given the chance use the same nesting place year after year ( crows are notorious for it ) and those trees could have been used for quite a long time, as long as I can remember ( 35yrs ) go even further back and there could have been a good excuse for establishing in the first place.

    What do you call a group of crows?
