Bins and the countryside

I was trying to photograph an ancient street in Canterbury last week and the colourful bags were even there, a beautiful street spoiled...so it is a blight on the landscape this new policy. Yellow bags for this, green bags for that, purple bags for the other, black bags for something else...all the colours of the rainbow and all highly visible.
Ah now..is Judy Finnegan airbrushed in that shot???

Is there an easier way than putting out bin bags ?? Perhaps there is ...---------------------------------------------------

- 18 May 2012 14:50173105Came home from a night shift earlier in the week and on the way saw some purple bags had been ripped open, probably by a fox, and the contents were strewn all over the street. Not sure how you resolve it, tougher bags that can be emptied into the truck and reused possibly?Audere est facere.
