    I have first hand experience of "being a suspect" during the Miners Strike. Our phone was taped and we were under constant watch, proven when we overheard the police discussing the next days planned arrests based on what individuals may be wearing!!! This is just the updated form of phone tapping, which is deemed to be ok unless you are a celebrity of course......
