Beware of the cliffs

  just had this in from melanie wrigley of the white cliffs countryside partnership.
  
  
  Please warn people not to go anyhwere near the cliff edges, as there are constant rock falls at the moment. With over hanging cliff tops and with nothing underneath! (the foundations of the cliffs have been under cut, and have fallen near the base, leaving blocks of cliff suspended).

  your memory is correct alex, charlie did promise to save the cliffs for the nation!!

  Saw this on eBay a few days ago but too expensive to merit purchasing so apologies for the watermark. Shows work to stabilise the cliff face along towards the Eastern Docks back in 1968.

  Little England is becoming cosier still, with the cliffs of Dorset's Jurassic coast suffering in much the same way...
