If only Elizabeth's ancestors could see her now, she would be a laughing stock! Got to say I've been to Cruffs and apart from the fly ball it was very uninteresting, just a lot of sellers ripping people off. However, I went to 'PAws in the Park' with my hound this year. I lot of free activities for you and your dog for just a laugh that keeps them interested with no pressure. It celebrates the dogs as pets not money makers...rant over

Keeps politics to myself

what i have done in the past when i had my lhasa was turn up at a dog show that was in a park locally and let her off the lead once inside.
she would amble slowly towards where the crowds were and eventually one of the dogs posing would lose its discipline and break ranks.
once the first starts barking the others forget all their training and the show is reduced to farce.
at that point i go over put the lead on my one give everyone accusing looks for luring my dog away.
the entertainment value is first class.

I thought somebody would have posted this - Libby was doing well till she decided she'd something better to do.

well done libby for striking a blow for dogs against owners that use them as a status symbol.

At least the owner did clean up after her. Interestingly there is a shot of a bin with notice stating a fine of £1,000 can be imposed for failing to clear up after your dog fouling.
Personally, I can't see how difficult it is for anyone taking a dog for a walk (and the reason for walkies is a constitutional squat) to take a plastic bag with them. Forget? Surely it's easy enough to tie a bag to the handle of a lead.

no excuse indeed tony, most dog owners automatically pick up a few small plastic bags before leaving the house.
my one used to carry out her motions with her nose in the air, then look pointedly at me after to clear it up.
