    Think you have it all wrong there Howard.

    The one on the right is just a standard bench. The one on the left has been "designed" to appear tatty and less appealing to sit on. Even the mud in front of the the bench (that could easily be mistaken for grass worn away by users) is actually a 'design' feature to deter users that don't like getting their shoes dirty.

    I think I'm getting the hang of this.
