This courageous young man shows exactly how resilient and brave the badly injured can be away from the battlefield.
Well done does not really express my admiration for all those just like him.

What a shame that not one person on this forum has responded about this brave young man but so many can waffle endlessly about politics.
BTW thinking of the military, does anyone know if Ted is ok we have not heard from him for a while.

Jan,
Without doubt this is the type of award deserving this guy.
Far to often the award is given out to celebrities who dont deserve it.
I'v always said this is what the awards should be all about
WELL DONE BEN

ted's computer has been down for some time, surprised it has not been fixed yet - seen him in town a few times and he is busy volunteering at south foreland and the transport museum.

Had the pleasure of meeting Ben a couple of years ago when I fell on him at the Army Navy rugby match at Twickenham . His wheelchair and I collided, he has a very wicked sense of humour which I'm sure has helped him through a lot of his problems. a very well deserved award.
