Lesley, my Church is the Light-Tower Church at the Castle.
It's where I habitually go and have free entry having paid my dues to English Heritage.
It entitles me to participate in our Heritage.
I have also been to St. Martin's Church in Canterbury, which is where the English Church was founded by our Kentish King Ethelbert.
The English Church came about through a marriage between man and woman, as Queen Bertha the Consort of Ethelbert was Christian and converted her husband to the One Faith.
Our Light-Tower Church overlooks Dover and the Sea.
The British High Command in WWII took refuge next to this Church. The Germans never bombed nor shelled the Castle owing to the Church, as the Fair Lady has connections In High.
It's the Church on a Hill within its own walls, overlooking the oldest settlement and port in the British Isles.
