The service this morning was not advertised as such but was well advertised on FB, anyone was entitled to be present as the Memorial is a public place, no one in particular was invited - it was open to all. The town council were informed in plenty of time & knew the exact time etc that the service began. It certainly was not a secret & no one needed to be "in the know" Sue Nicholas as I said it was open to all, if DTC or the town clerk kept it to themselves then take it up with them. I will just add that services of Rememberence have been held all over the Country today shame on DTC for not organising one for Dover. The service to be held on Sunday has been organised by the RBL. We wish them well.
