  Milder weather? It was absolutely freezing yesterday, oop here, in the far north ...
  
  Well done for the bat picture. We regularly, to my delight, have them roosting in various crannies around the house. Parts of the garden I leave fairly wild, and there are also the ponds, so I suspect the bats often find tasty snacks about.

  Fascinating picture there Scotchie ..terrific to see it. What a sight. I havent seen a bat in years...back in de ould emerald oisle they used to whiz around our heads on a regular basis. You have to be fast to catch one with a camera. You must be faster on the draw than Wyatt Earp. Well done young fella me lad.

  I really love bats, stayed in a hotel in Nottingham once and they had loads in the tower part, they were whizzing past my ears on the balcony, lovely creatures - their little faces

  Lovely picture, we get them in the garden at Salisbury Road but I do not know where they are roosting, I know it is not my house.
