Excellent news about the quality of water at Sandwich Bay , Deal castle and St Margaret's Bay bathing water being nice and clean, not a mention on Dover Harbour, I wonder if this is ever monitored and safe to swim in.

There is a sign on the promenade stating that it reaches EU standards and is updated every year. The channel swimmers wouldn't train there if they had any doubts.

Just find it a bit strange that Dover isn't mentioned as a clean place to swim, it doesn't even feature on the environmental agency's website for clean bathing water.

Probably because it's not a designated bathing water.
(Not my real name.)
