I sure the wild life will not be very happy, why could this not be done in the winter months a lot of people like to walk along there looking at the fish, birds

I Would be interested to know what will be in place to prevent polluting the river, a lot of time and effort has been put in to improving the water quality and biodiversity.

Didn't see any notice yesterday, although I wasn't looking for one, just avoiding dogs mess!

There is paperwork at the Beaconsfield end. Haven't read it fully, but it says it hopes to be completed by the end of March.

I've just had confirmation from the EA that the necessary conditions are being put in place, they don't want a repeat of the pollution that occurred from work on the railway tunnel last year (which fortunately wasn't damaging).

What is the logic for Balfour Road being the alternative route when there are wider paths and a cycle path along Barton Road?

Balfour rd is one way, so I guess it not going to be a cycle route to and frow the town.

Karlos and Vince
There are always those lovely clear narrow pavements that we pedestrians can share with the cyclists.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

Maybe the folks at KCC aren't aware it's a Sustrans Greenway and think it's used just as a footpath.

I had a conversation with Heather Waller from the KCC regarding this closure , she informed me that the path will only be close for 2 week, let's wait and see.
