- 1 April 2011 08:5599476At least they dont bite you Mel Well trained .Some time ago a friend of mine was on the bus route 60 and a passanger got on with a dog not a little pleasant creature .Well my friend advised her husband to sit further into the sear as dog looked a menance .What happened next the said dog owner swore at my friend all the way into town shouting abuse and even continued when she got off the bus .
In my book I would have rung the bell and asked that dog and very offensive person got off the bus .
We are not posh Mel but do we have to put up with that behaviour .
I also had the experience of a drunk sitting next to me I thought any minute he was going to throw up all over me .Children standing on the seats with sticky hands whilst MUm talks forever on a mobile .
Not posh just need a litle bit of consideration In fairness thwe older people from St Radigunds are lovely and I chat to them all the time .Hard working people who accept the area .. - 1 April 2011 09:1299481the area will never change sue , and yes we do have a large amount of unsavory people living up here , i dislike going on the bus so much im learning how to drive when i pass i will pick you up just remember to bring your crash helmet

Best of luck with your driving lessons and subsequent test . My wife, who is from the Philippines where they drive on the wrong side of the road! ,recently took lessons and passed the exam and test first time. She is only 4'11'' and has to sit on a cushion to see over the steering wheel. So please take heart from that. YOU CAN DO IT
We are so proud of her and it's given her more independance. She has even collected me from the local police station after a night in the cells following my normal Friday nights out. Magic...
