Anyone who has visited the city will know that Las Ramblas is packed with people all year round but in August everyone is shoulder to shoulder so no chance of anyone dancing out of the way if a nut case decides to drive into them.

Majorca also is buckling under the strain of too many tourists.

According to Reuters, three police sources said the suspect had shouted "Allahu Akbar" (God is greatest) as he carried out his attack at Marseille's main railway station.
Two victims - one aged 17 and the other 20 - suffered gory injuries, two police sources said, saying one had her throat slit while the other was stabbed in the stomach.

Town Mayors have been thrown into prisons for backing the referendum and riot police beating and using rubber bullets on people trying to vote. The Generalissimo would have proud of Spain's democracy.
