  So much for the heatwave promised whilst there was plenty of sun Saturday and Sunday the wind made it too uncomfortable to sit in the garden and as for today it was actually cold in town earlier.

  I sat in the garden on Saturday and Sunday sunning myself, your garden must face the wrong way Howard, but yes it was windy away from my sheltered side.
  
  Today is typical Bank Holiday weather, I suppose we should be grateful it is not raining...............yet.

  After the horrendous overnight thunderstorm on Friday/Saturday the brilliant sunshine during Saturday and Sunday were most welcome!
  
  It is quite windy in Sussex today but pleasant gardening.......Howard, remember the old saying, "the Devil looks after his own?" This could perhaps have some bearing on how we all fared so differently in the weather stakes!
  Do nothing and nothing happens.

  Not great weather for half term with wind so strong that a plant pot in a sheltered position was turned over in front of my house. Best bet for those with children would be the events all week at the Charlton centre.
