I've just reported this problem.
This is the terrace in London Road from 320 to Beaconsfield. When the gas services were replaced last year the paving slabs were badly relaid. As well as now being loose it is all very uneven. Huge puddles form when it rains.

That looks lethal in the picture there, especially for the unsuspecting elderly. If there are other places too, as mentioned there by Ron, they ought to be looked at poste haste.
I'm not sure who is responsible..whether its the KCC or the DDC. If KCC then this is part of the problem with remote councils, they cover such a wide area and essentially people dont feel as though they are in touch with little local problems.
Unitary Councils...hmmmm..
I love the description The Unsuspecting Elderly. As opposed to the bloody suspicious elderly!! Made me smile..........

I wondered about that. I reported it to DDC. They acknowledged and passed it to KCC.

Who will be the first to put in a claim.

coming back to me now terry it was k.c.c. contractors that blocked me in for hours whilst doing a botched repair job on the pavement outside.
Ah, sweet memories.........

is the market square one done as well , if not a photo would embrass the council as we must have another cruise liner in next week and the welcome ( with dover castle being closed to the first one ) to dover has been poor at start of season

I doubt it Ron, I haven't reported it, I don't know where it is. Drop them an email at
highways@kent.gov.uk telling them where the problem is and I'm sure you'll get a speedy response.
