    #238.Peter, I think I'm correct in stating that this is at the Secretary of State's discretion and is not a requirement.

    I'm fascinated to know whether the £1.8b included in Gordon Brown/Alistair Darling red book budget estimates for privatisation of Trust Ports has been deleted by George Osborne, as is still to be collected. Conversations I had with other Trust Port chairman over the last few years was not that they did not want to privatise but were awaiting the response to the Port of Dover which was the biggest. They will all be considering their positions & watching.
