Keith, how would DHB function side by side with DPPT? Two chefs running the kitchen?
I always thought the latter wanted to replace the former.

Adding to that, Keith, I wouldn't want to see Charlie Elphicke having any mandate to run the Port as MP, that would be the total politicisation of the Port. Just imagine, Charlie deciding where local regeneration would be spent and where not!
And making decisions on T2 and on the running of Eastern Docks.

I'm surprised Red Claire fell for it too. Could you imagine the next General Election, with both candidates mud slinging each other as to who would govern better the Port and local regeneration.

Keithy, leave local regeneration to the local Councils, please! We elect councillors for this! We can elect whom we want, and can also stand for election as councillors.

And leave the MP to do his job in Parliament. The MP's job is not to run the Port or to make decisions on monies destined for local administration and regeneration.
