Vic is right, the DfT have not decided that DHB must go.
DHB can make other proposals except another privatisation bid.
The current ongoing rhetoric about "Bob Goldfinger shoulld go" is embarrassing, because I don't know the man personally but think his name is Bob Goldfield.
It would be embarrassing to make a public statement and by mistake pronounce his name wrong.
All the talk about "they will be at it again...and again... and again... trying to privatise the Port"... "they want to sell our White Cliffs to the French" ....... "Bob Goldfinger is only looking for a golden handshake"...... is poor and misleading rhetoric, and one would have thought that the DfT decision, or rather, the Decision Minister's decision, would have put an end to all this.
We should now be looking at how the Community can have access to regeneration revenues from the Port.
And the DPPT proposals are currently as valid as any others, unless specifically stated otherwise by the DfT.
