    Hadn't posted before, just got a moment or two now.

    Firstly a huge thanks to everyone who has campaigned or helped with the campaign to ensure that the Port is NOT sold off to remote private equity.

    Secondly, still a long road to go before the port's future is settled in perpetuity, but at least the way is now clear to arrrive at a solution that deliivers what is needed to all the stakeholders - a fair and equitable solution that serves the best interests of all of the stakeholders to the exclusion of none and that is rooted in service to the community and the common good.

    Thirdly - it can be done, all us ordinary folks really do make a difference.
