  11 out of 10 for Kent Police. On my initial phone call I gave huge amounts of information and I was promised a call back by the crime investigation team within 4 hours. Surprise- they called after 2 1/2 hours and made sn appointment to visit the crime scene at 2.45. By 4pm they had done their forensics- no fingerprints but good jemmy marks on the door frames from which they took imprints- and gone. Before they went they told us they had arrested an old lag on Monday night/ Tuesday morning in Whitfield. His van was loaded with swag from a string burglaries earlier that night in both Eastry and Whitfield. The MO was the same in all the burglaries and burglary 'tools' were recovered, as he was caught red-handed.
  
  Also by 4pm Direct Line's door and window contractor had secured the property and measured up for 2 new sets of patio doors and a new side gate, which had been broken in the attempt.
