  I didn't remember that; my sister and her family who live in Sydney will be having a great day - now nearly over of course.
  
  The date commemorates the arrival of the First Fleet at Sydney Cove in 1788 and the proclamation at that time of British sovereignty over the eastern seaboard of New Holland.

  I see they are quietly thrashing England in the Cricket one day matches...you would hardly notice this fact on our news bulletins. We dont wanna hear this after the Ashes success.

  we thrashed them this morning, they lead us 3 - 1.
  
  the one day series is only second fiddle to the ashes, the aussie would much rather have won the test series than these matches.
