  The whole point howard is the sheer degree of bile directed towards the Government. I have never experienced anything like it in a commercial arena. It rivalled a Conservative conference for that. Normally politics is avoided and yes, there have never been many Labour supporters in my industry but even so....to have the sitting Government to be dismissed as a dangerous irrelivance tells us a lot.
  
  Incidentally howard, there were many types of adviser and industry representatives there. Not all are heavily into the savings market, some grew fat on Labour's debt fueled economy, others like me are more investment people.
  
  Worth pointing out that the banks received a fair bit of stick too.
