19:5584257A very good turn out today from the public with over 100kids going in to see F/Christmas, My wife was there all day to give ahelping hand and I joined them all later in the Day. They did have two power cuts this morning, but missed the big one later on,where we live it was off from 01030hrs 1815hrs.But well done to all the v/staff at the mill you all worked your butts off and made it into a very good day.

20:2684260i don;t wish to throw cold water over the efforts of the mill today, but i am reliably informed that mr claus was in folkestone at roughly the same time today.
i understand that he is not omnipresent so the logical conclusion is that one of them was fibbing.
rather sad that at this time of goodwill to all men the spirit of winterval is marred.

20:5684268I think Howard doesn't believe in Father Christmas, Vic.
(I know someone who won't be getting any presents this year, then ...

21:1284270au contraire maggy, i am a great believer, the problem is that there could be an antisanta as we were warned about in the good book.
we were told he would appear in human form, mind you it did not mention anything about him wearing a red coat and sporting a drinkers conk.

01:1784304THE FOUR STAGES OF LIFE:
1) You believe in Santa Claus.
2) You don't believe in Santa Claus.
3) You are Santa Claus.
4) You look like Santa Claus.

15:5184370Though there be many false prophets and harbingers, thou need'st have no fear. A true believer will alwaqys know The One Santa.
I've met him myself several times, just in the last week.

16:0784379The 'One' is Bishop Nicholas of Smyrna (now Turkey), 4th Century AD, a very rich and generous man who loved children and gave presents by throwing them (the presents that is) through their windows. Then there is the Dutch elf Sinter Klaas brought over by immigrants to America from the Netherlands, eventually 'americanized' then turned into Santa Claus as we know him by the media dept at Coca-Cola for an advertising campaign.
So, It's a Fact, the Whole World believes in 'Advertising'. Oops! I meant Father Christmas : )

19:0084425I stopped believing in Santa when I was 4 years old, my old man made sure of that. He thought why should he pay out on all those presents and someone else get the credit for it. (Hancock).
Tell them that I came, and no one answered.

19:2084433or the famous line from the "likely lads" when bob recounted terry coming into his house when they were about 6 years old.
with a look of malicious glee terry said "santa won't be coming, he's been gored to death by his reindeer".

21:4684487Santa went past just now. Don't know what he's been feeding those reindeer, but his collectors with the buckets had a job keeping up.

09:1384522Finding DNA would prove that it wasn't the One True Santa.
The One True Santa doesn't have DNA. He's made from stardust.

17:2584565These days you just have to ask Santa if he has been CRB checked - if he says yes he's not the real one
