  you may think that this herring gull is waiting to pounce, not correct he is on my neighbours roof waiting for him to come homefrom work.
  
  as soon as phil gets home and goes out the back for a smoke the bird comes down and waits to be hand fed.
  
  every day he arrives at 4 pm and patiently waits an hour.

  you would not want to mix with my moggy ian, eats everything including the beak then comes in and chucks up on my carpet.

  There's a pigeon nested somewhere on the roof near my open window; it sounds off about 6 in the morning, just a tad to early for me, so I reach my hand to some cotton wool ready-prepared and close my ears with it, then snooze off again
