Why did Hampshire police issue an arrest warrant for his parents? If it was the only way to get co-operation from abroad that seems rather strange.
I do not remember hearing they had broken any law only that they removed this sick little boy from hospital against medical advice.
He is now alone in a strange country without access to any of his family not even his siblings can visit him he must be so lonely and even afraid.

Totally agree with you Jan. I reckon the end game is to get him back here & stick a court order on him moving him into care or hospital responsibility.

When the story first broke the parents were cast as the villain of piece by denying their child urgent treatment. We now find out that the treatment he needs is not available on the NHS so the parents are doing all in their power to try to save him.
I feel some sympathy with the Spanish police in having to carry out the arrest.

Further to your comment Howard, I note that the treatment that his parents want him to have will be available on the NHS in 2018, however, in certain cases the NHS will fund and send a patient abroad for this treatment.
Not sure if any law has been broken and wonder whether he is being brought back for not discharging him from the hospital in the proper manner which may have a legal implication.
However I also feel that he needs his family at this time.
Do nothing and nothing happens.

I have just edited my post so it makes more sense, that will teach me to read before hitting Post Reply.
It was the legal side I found so disturbing as it gives the impression the police can issue an international arrest warrant on rather flimsy grounds. The costs will be enormous what with police travelling to Spain, possible extradition warrants also who will be paying for Aysha's medical bills over in Spain.

Only the state knows what is good for our children.

Spain in the EU so the medical bill or some of it will be paid by the state.
I do not know who is right over this one but going with my gut feeling I think it was wrong to take the boy from the care he was getting in the first place.
And what happen after was done just to try and get that boy the treatment he needed A.S. P
I just hope now, he is now getting that treatment this will just die away with his mum@dad just getting told that what thy done was not the best thing to do for the lad and it could have cost him his life if he had not been found.
