  I cannot find the other thread on which the new Asda is discussed so I am doing a Vic and spreading it around a bit....
  
  I went into Asda for the first time yesterday, and what a dump!!! I know we should be encouraging new business and supporting new shops, but it is a real disappointment. Dingy, badly laid out, lots of nothing at all, poor checkouts, a real downer. Although as I do not use Asda as a rule and have not been in one for years so that might simply be Asda for you! But I had not heard bad things about it before.........won't be going back - Morrisons has a better choice, is more pleasant to shop in and is just around the corner for me when I have forgotten stuff. Main shop done elsewhere.
