    As I mentioned earlier, I had written to various people at DDC, including PaulW and this morning I had several replies from various officers (and Nigel) saying that DDC had been working with the Police, almost as soon as they had arrived.

    They had to go down the legal route of course, which always delays things - and these people know the legalities of what the Police and Local Authorities have to do, but after claiming a hundred and one different serious health issues, they were moved on this morning at 07.30.

    I know a Mr. Shirley and if it is the same person, he has put to me a number of times that DDC is not for for purpose. I have always told him that is definitely not the case and that (most of) the people who think that, do so out of lack of knowledge as to what the Council does, or is responsible for.

    I agree that it could be argued that DDC could publicise more what they do, but that's another argument.
