  AndyPol, I completely agree with you. Many HGV drivers from some countries rely on mobile phones for navigation and not an HGV satnav system which, as you correctly assess will divert them by the most direct route however unsuitable. They are also likely to drive through the White Cliffs Business Park rather than back onto the A2 using phone navigation. The Parish Council has never been included in any discussions on this proposal. Kept completely out of the loop. When challenged about lack of information, transparency and openness both residents and the Pc have been told that this was because the site hadn’t yet been acquired and negotiations were commercially sensitive. KCC and DDC have been aware of this for a long time but in our opinion have failed in their obligations to communicate with the PC and the electorate. I hope Dover residents remember all this when local and national elections come around.
