    I am all in favour of a broad renegotiation, not just UK verses the EU, but a redefining of the aims of the EU and the inter-relationships between the EU and member states. I think it likely that other (major) member states would agree.
    There is much that is good and worthwhile about some sort of united Europe, but things cannot continue along the path trodden by various treaties and agreements since Maastricht.
    There does not appear to be the least thing under Article 50 to prevent this.
