So Cameron, and now Milliband too, reckon that we do not need a referendum on the EU especially at this crucial time what with events unfolding which could plunge the world into economic meltdown. Someone should tell them there is nothing we can do about that it's gonna happen anyway and there's nothing we can do to stop it.
What I find odd is that these politicians really believe that we can be taken for complete chumps all of the time rather than just some of the time.
So Cameron and his brethren have been holding forth on tv sofas on most channels, ties off, casual look, it's Sunday remember wanting us to fall for their line that we can "renegotiate" our position in terms of our membership of the EU.
Surely they know that this is totally impossible. It's a non-starter. There's more chance of me campaigning for a wind farm than there is for us to be able to "renegotiate" our position.
