    The services could be moved to the 11th which would be more appropriate and it would avoid the doubling up of silences as happens now (on the 11th and on the Sunday). Sundays were probably designated to avoid people having time off work and messing up the economy!
    However, the 11th should be an international day of reflection when we commemorate the (approximately) 8.5 MILLION who died as a result of the First World War, the 61 MILLION who died as a result of the Second World War and the 41 MILLION who have died in wars since 1945.
