    I attended the Rememberence service before going to collect Jean (she's now home in bed).

    It was a lovely service and beautiful weather - probably the best we've ever had.

    David Ridley spoke about the weather and how awful it was last year, when everyone (including David of course) was soaked like drowned rats.

    There were three people standing quite close to me who collapsed, two I believe were elderly gentlemen and I'm sure at least one if not both were taken away by St. John's ambulance. Hope they are all O.K.
