Plenty of whispers on social media that roads were closed off in Elms Vale for many hours during the night by Police whilst thet dealt with an incident near the Tram Shelter in Folkestone Road. Went past earlier and couldn't see any evidence of such activity.

No real information on this so far but there has been speculation it might be to do with the attempted but failed robbery at the jewelers just up Tower Hamlets.
The poor man was sprayed with mace but was very quickly aided by neighbours and and some in the street who tried to help but the thieves got away.
No mention of armed siege at all in connection with either event.

Howard should have asked the only Cllr for the ward he appears to know and done everything, even if others actually posted days before like yourself on issues
