No, not the flag raising at Deal, although I shall be there, but something in Pencester.
In Timpsons there is a "Help For Heroes" poster stating that an event will take place on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th June between 10 and 4.
This doesn't equate, anyone got any better info?

Terry yes thats probably the Hellfire Corner event as run by BarryW and his team. You have your dates slightly askew there though...its on sat and sun the 25th and 26th.
I think Ive got that right...there may be another event a day or two earlier but thats all the info I have at present.

saw that poster, very odd.
it states what terry has said but does not mention what will actually happen there.

That is the second poster I have heard about with the wrong date. This is not an official poster. I did ask the committee where the other one I heard about might have come from but no-one knows.
I will go there with an official poster with the right date later.
I am very puzzled by this.

Just popped in and gave them an official poster with the correct details and explained the problem. Hopefully they will replace the HfH poster very soon.
Looking at the incorrect poster I suspect I now know the well meaning origin but will not say anything more on here.
Thank you Terry - if anyone sees any more I would be grateful if you could alert me.

just looked at my calender and the 23rd /24th is thursday and friday,it sorts of coinsides with anorther forum members event [23rd].
