  i see that argos will be closing 75 shops over the next 5 years,due the lack of profits and under used shops.the clousures will be nationwide.

  Argos has done fairly well to weather the changes in the retail trade over the past ten years or so. Theirs was a decent idea for it's time, but the internet overtook their business structure, now anybody through ebay and the rest can be their own Argos.
  Let's hope that they achieve growth in their online enterprise, for they do still have something of an edge in storage and distribution...

  they are a flexible business as well as being in the high street they do home deliveries and you can order online to collect at the shop.
  
  i notice that they have stock shortages at times and they have downgraded their delivery service.

  They never delivered when they said they would and I have found the same items cheaper elsewhere on many occasions. I honestly haven't bothered to go there probably for the last year or more.
