I sympathize with anyone who has to put up with heavy noise pollution but I myself am very lucky where i live except for the teenage boy who lives at the back of ours who plays his drums very loudly at times. To his credit though he only practises after 9 am at weekends and never late at night.

Yes Maggie by their very nature we all expect cemeteries to be peaceful places but alas in this modern world sadly that is not always the case. My own Dear Dad is buried in a north Dublin graveyard which is right on the flight path of Dublin Airport and the noise is atrocious. However one consolation is he loved flying especially to Spain every year with my Mam so I always have a little smile when I look up and see a Spanish plane flying right over his resting place. I think he would like that.
