Earlier this week on BBC4 was an episode of Britain On Film which shows archive footage made by Rank in the 1960's.
In this programme 'Island Nation' there is some local footage I'd never seen before of Channel swimmers & around their base at what is still Hubert House guest house. It's about 21 minutes into the programme.
