Would anyone know what the type of tree is that is currently so resplendent near Morrisons on the corner of Crafford St and Dour St.? It's certainly a fantastic specimen after being cut back in the winter. Suggestions thus far have been Garrya Elliptica and an Indian Bean Tree but neither description or image from Wiki entries really seems to fit.
There's been a lot of comment about it on another forum and I'm sure I'm not alone in appreciating a definitive answer.

Thanks Reg. That looks just the ticket looking at the Woodland Trust site.
