Crash driver charged with assault
A man has been charged with seriously injuring another man by driving at him while over the alcohol limit.
The 31-year-old was struck by a car after being involved in an argument in Northbourne Avenue, Dover in the early hours of Saturday.
He is being treated for serious head injuries in a London hospital.
Paul Russell, 41, of Henniker Close, Whitfield, is accused of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and drink driving.
He will appear before magistrates in Folkestone in Monday
