  i seem to remember david b saying that he had a ticket, i have no idea of the event and i vaguely remember one other saying that he would be attending.

  No haven't been to any events. I live in Essex and have been passing the rehersal site in Barking for the opening and closing ceremonies which was very interesting to see. The Spice girls were there on Thursday and there are amazing mini structures of the London Eye and Tower Bridge and Del boys 3 wheeler was also there so I guess that will be included somewhere

  Yes I went to the swimming. I cant begin to tell you what the atmosphere was like except I will say I was proud to be British. An absolutely fabulous day. Ill upload some of my many pics

  great stuff david the atmosphere at all events has been quite incredible.

  Totally agree. Everyone was so happy even when standing in a torrential thunderstorm drippiing wet - no one was moaning. Incredible
