It would appear that the strain of E-coli thats currently knocking Europe for 6 and has claimed 18 lives is a completely new strain and 'could' originate from european cumbers,toms and lettuce.Germany has been the hardest hit.
I think I'll stick to fresh Jersey produce for the time being...just to be on the safe side.
Are you still eating cucumbers etc?
