Unfortunately Gary, although I have no evidence other than seeing what has been done over the years in Dover, and especially treatment of Aycliffe with TAP, I imagine that the powers that be are probably not as interested in the impact on Aycliffe residents as they would be if this was being planned, for example in Whitfield, the old Connaught Barracks or River?
Controversial my opinion may be, but there is probably some truth in it.....
At least they have 8 bicycle spaces, seems including cycle spaces rather than parking spaces is becoming popular (see the Malvern Road crazy idea).
