  FirstGroup adds to Thameslink loss, losing ScotRail to Dutch rival Abellio after five-way franchise contest.
  
  FirstGroup shares fell 7 per cent after it lost the £2.5billion ScotRail franchise to Abellio, an offshoot of the Dutch national railway operator.

  Been like that as far back as I can remember, a year or two back we gave the contract to build new rolling stock to an overseas company. Recently a foreign business tried to buy a major French company, Danone I think and their government put a block on it.
