  Yes I think the time has come now to put a swift stop to the hugging and cuddling and the 'I love my brother' stuff. However Im sure it will end soon anyway. Young Ed takes to the platform today to make the speech of his life as Labour Leader, there is a lot resting on it , most importantly how the media reacts to it. It better be a good one or the wilderness beckons.

  Seems to have gone okay. He spoke out against the Iraq war, which he must know is what the majority of the hoi-polloi want to hear.
