A lapse of nearly twelve months seems the perfect interval for remembering all that was said. The 'election' of a new Mayor too seems timed to perfection.
"local government electors "
I would have thought this the perfect title for the local electorate, but I am at a loss as to what, "the public" has to do with it all.

the wording is a bit confusing tom, also there is that bit that we are all invited but could be frogmarched out if the mayor directs.

Yes Howard, the electorate there only 'under sufferance'.

I'd like to go but have a previous engagement for that evening.
I think it needs two members of the public to attend to make the meeting go ahead.

Indeed Roger. In previous years it was in fact abandoned.

I believe it was just a short meeting Roger with just a handful of solid stalwarts turning up. Keef has done a report on another thread called...
TONIGHTS TOWN COUNCIL
so some more detail there.
