Cleggy and Jeremy Irons agree on Government economic policy.
Iron`s said ``There are a lot of people at the bottom of the chain and I think it`s just bad manners.........last years
bonuses were a slap in the face for a lot of people.
Cleggy said.......``That`s far to polite``
Iron`s......``We`re asking the people who created this situation to sort it out``
Gordon Brown was not mentioned at all...............

Starring in a film about a business hardly make you an economic expert or even gives a luvvie an appreciation of what actually happened. I too watched that programme.
No-one in their right mind would want Brown to sort it or anything out...

Whilst Irons is free to express an opinion, as you all are, he is no economic expert and as one of the "haves" it is disingenuous of him to talk about bonuses or income being a slap in the face for the ordinary person in the street. As for Clegg given his and Miriam's income he is neither in a good place to be pontificating on bonuses or wages.

Disagree Ross..........everyone has the right to pontificate about Bankers Bonuses.............very ``few``have
such access to that kind of money especially when performance is poor.

I think we all should be concerned at the THEM AND US which is growing and growing an the divide getting bigger and bigger.
Even in todays climate if you justify the large wages of some
the very least we should do is look at failed people who are ripping us off for millions at the top of the rung.

Reg - did I not say he is free to express an opinion exactly as you and I are - the key is how much weight does that opinion carry if you are a rich actor or politician who already is in receipt of an income beyond the dreams of ordinary people
