I've just been down to pick up Jean after her Haemodialysis session and who should be in the car-park, but Charlie Elphicke and Paul Carter, Leader of KKC.
When I asked one of the dignitaries inside, why they were there, it was because Andrew Lansley was visiting Buckland Hospital.
I wasn't able to determine exactly why, but the Health Minister doesn't come here for a minor injury ! Let's hope it is good news for the hospital.

Its not only Roger that wasnt in the loop...nobody seems to have been in the loop..although..I bet there were some. Would have been worth a picture or two that one. Lansley is not terribly popular right now alas but we could have put rose tinted lenses on....
we can make do with a previous encounter...
Andrew Lansley, Reg Hansell himself, and Charlie Elphicke.

# 4 .....In the summer of 2010 ( pre-election ) Mr Lansley met with the`New Hospital for Dover`team he
promised/supported a Hospital for Dover......
In the summer of 2012 he met with a `Health Team`outside Buckland and promised a ``CLINIC ON A CARPARK``.....
In the spring of 2010 Mr Cameron and Mr Lansley promised they would not change the NHS.........

This also applies to `charlie in da house` &`Peoples Port`.
Unfortunately Big Business and large Organisations decide what will happen years before we the public and groups can
muster resistance to any controversial projects.
Once the public are aware of the project the momentum of Big Business and Large Organisations is such that even the
support of an MP on your side and consultation after consultation the momentum can only be delayed.
Unfortunately we will not get our deserved Hospital it will be a clinic on a carpark and sadly our port will end up in foreign
hands.
No I am not a defeatist or have given up trying but it is a fact of history.
Only with universal public support do we have a chance of success.

Why ?
The Cabinet member for Health and Well-being knew and was present, he will report back I'm sure.
