  Of course, no problem Howard. We`re not known as the " compassionate" party for nothing! Although I thought Vic only had the kid glove treatment?
  
  But joking aside and perhaps this should be for a different thread, I`m not aware that our royal family have in fact done anything to assist us in trying to retain our sovereignty and appear just to have sat back and let our demise as an independent nation continue unabated. I`m aware of course that they are supposed to be non-political and leave such things up to our elected parliament to sort out etc., etc., etc. But surely they could have somewhat leaned on the prime minister of the day during their regular meetings?
  
  I`m not particularly anti-royalist by any means ( in fact I`ve previously enjoyed the "Royal Garden Parties" ) but I do find that rather strange to be honest. Although thinking about it, aren`t they half German/Greek or something anyway!
