  Speaking of pimples (and I'm not really digressing here as there is the word bonkers in the title), my Auntie Lil always wore a scarf. She did that because she almost always had at least one or two boils on the back of her neck. You don't find that these days, I suppose we are all (well some of us) much cleaner.
